Train Environment

This is a render i made of a train for class, it reafirmed the fact that i really dont like rendering. Its done now. now i can play on the grass like a normal kid!

Slowly Learning

This just one of those personal notes posts feel free to skip it.

I'm Slowly learning the best times to sketch, the page below was done while i was waiting for my environment assignment to render (By the way, there are very few good things about rendering, it really is the most boring and frustrating thing i think i have experienced in 3D yet... except maybe rigging.) Other times i have noticed that are good times to draw are- waiting for public transport Especially at Airports, watching tv(and not shows from America full of barbie and ken dolls, British comedy is a good place to start, and shows like OZ and the Sopranos.) Waiting for friends at a food court, and of course when i have an actual idea. Notice how i dont include when "im board and feel like i SHOULD be drawing" I really wish that lesson would stick for me. I have so many bullshit sketchbook pages full of "i should be drawing" drawings.

Anyway, verrrrry soon i will be updating this blog with some the most recent work we have done on the film, and also the aforementioned Environment render.

workworkwork

Heya, i havent posted anything for a while hey? mainly because i have been doing 14 hour days at uni working on assignments. This is part of one of those assignments-
Oh and Im pretty sure i have never posted anything even remotely 3d on my blog. Now that should strike you as strange because im calling myself a 3d specialist. maybe my heart really isnt in it? haha, i like 3d, and heres DR Terror to prove it. This is the final model for my design. Liam Hockins did the model and the pose and i rigged the bad boy using TSM. I also through some block fill colours on him in Photoshop (thats why you should stop snickering and saying this tool can t render- we havent unwrapped him yet by the way)
I have started working on a cool project with Leath Mattner for BIAF, but i think i will elude to the details to that later in project. What i will tell you though is that we have started on the music for it, as well as DR Terror. The very talented Vincent Kemp is our composer, so i am looking forward to seeing how it pans out

Oh and i quit my job on saturday night. That is a very long story, and i kinda wont to move on so i think i will reframe from retelling it.
